저번 게시글에서 말씀 드렸죠?! 드디어 파트타임 잡을 구했습니다!! 밴쿠버 온 지 3주차만에..!

외국인 손님이 많이 오는 스시 레스토랑에서 일하게 됐어요. 24시간 트레이닝을 받고, 정식으로 일하게 된답니다. 트레이닝을 시작하기 전에, 레스토랑에서 사용하는 영어를 공부해놓으면 좋을 것 같아서 포스팅을 해요! 뭐든 배우고 익히는 게 좋은 거니까요 :-) (일하면서 혹여나 발생할 실수를 줄이기 위해....)

A ship is certainly safer when in the harbour, but that is not why the ship was built. 

We have a need for security, but we also need change and adventure.

안전하고 편안한 것도 좋지만, 열심히 도전하고 모험하는 것도 좋은 것 같아요. 변화를 두려워하지말고 즐겨보세요! 가끔 지치고, 힘들고, 두려울 때도 있겠지만 분명 얻는 게 훨씬 많을 거예요. 지금 제게 온 변화들, 즉, 스시 레스토랑에서 일하게 된 것, 밴쿠버에서 외국인들에게 주문을 받는 것, 외국인에게 영어로 서비스를 제공하는 것 등을 저는 최대한 즐겨보려고 해요! 그 결과 배우고 얻는 게 정말 많을 것이라 믿으면서요 :-)
