파이어폭스 3d view 왜 없어졌나요

You could’ve ignored 3D View feature aka Tilt in the Mozilla browser, which is introduced with Firefox 11, though this feature is intended for developers to view their pages in 3-dimensional  mode; when you enter this mode, it allows you to analyze the structure and page elements in different angles.

Note April 15, 2020: Microsoft Edge 81 or later versions have got the 3D viewer feature.

To see it in action, download and install the new Edge.

1. Visit any webpage,
2. Click on the menu icon, select More tools > Developer Tools (or press Ctrl+Shift+I),
3. Click on the … icon to Customize and control Dev tools > More Tools > 3D View.

By not knowing the purpose novice users can play with this, but 3D View is very helpful for developers in finding layout problems and stray content on their pages. The developer can use this built-in standalone tool in Firefox to optimize the layout by looking at the page structure.

Quick update and summary about 3D View in Firefox browser as on JUNE 2018:

As you all know, 3D Viewer available in Firefox dev tools has been removed and made available to users in form of add-on, Tilt, which doesn’t support e10s aka multi-process Firefox. Since the add-on is not compatible with Firefox Quantum, there are no alternatives available for Firefox 3D View on Mozilla add-ons site.

We don’t recommend using old versions of Firefox, but you can use Firefox 52 ESR (link )and use legacy Tilt add-on without any issues. This is the least help we offer on this. If you’re interested, you may check other Firefox articles we’re covering on our site here.

UPDATE June 13, 2016:

FYI, Tilt or 3D View doesn’t work in Firefox when e10s is enabled, that’s why Mozilla has removed the 3D View from Firefox 47. But the feature is available in the form of an add-on here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tilt/, but for it to work, you need the browser to run in non-e10s mode. Update: The extension is not compatible with Firefox Quantum.

1. To open 3D view mode when Firefox is open, press Ctrl+Shift+ I to open Web Developer Tools and click on ‘3D View’ button that is after the Paint brush (check the screenshot below).

Update: In Firefox 31 and later versions, Developer Tools doesn’t show 3D view button, no problem! it is still there. Click on Gear icon ( Toolbox Options),  scroll down, under ‘available Toolbox Buttons’, enable ‘3D View’, now you can see its button.

Or Right click on the page and select ‘Inspect element’ to open the page inspector and then click on the 3D View button (can’t see this button? May be your graphics card driver needs an update).

2. To exit this mode, click on the same button again.

Firefox의 페이지 검사기에서 Tilt에 액세스 할 수 있습니다. 시작하려면 웹 개발자 메뉴에서 "검사"를 선택하여 페이지 검사기를 엽니 다. 또한 현재 페이지를 마우스 오른쪽 버튼으로 클릭하고 "요소 검사"를 선택하여 특정 요소에서 속성을 시작할 수 있습니다.

인스펙터 툴바에서 "3D"버튼을 클릭하십시오.

변경 사항은 페이지에 즉시 반영됩니다. 스타일 시트를 끄면 페이지의 스타일 정보가 손실됩니다. 스타일 시트를 수정하면 입력하는 동안 페이지에 수정 사항이 표시됩니다.

스타일 시트 중 하나의 복사본을 컴퓨터에 저장하거나, 컴퓨터에서 기존 스타일 시트를 가져 오거나, 스타일 편집기 창에서 저장, 가져 오기 또는 새로 만들기 링크를 사용하여 비어있는 새 스타일 시트를 추가 할 수 있습니다.

3D 시각화 기능은 현재 페이지의 변경 사항을 감시하고 변경 사항이 발생하면이를 알립니다. 3D 속성이 열린 상태에서 스타일 편집기를 사용하면 변경 사항이 3D보기에 즉시 반영됩니다. 이는 Firebug와 같은 웹 페이지를 수정하는 타사 확장 기능에서도 작동합니다.
